Unc returns up north to his studio on a weekend pass from rehab to record some new phone interviews as well as update the Squadron on how rehab has been going lately, He reveals some of the debauchery that has been going on within the facility, some of the recent events that caused a handful of residents to be discharged from the program as well as his Pride encounter with a 98 year old senior citizen. Unc explains why the last episode was delayed, detailing every graphic aspect of his recent colonoscopy exam, what practical jokes he plays on his rehab companions and how overall recovery life has been treating him thus far. Our apologies for the free dive cliffhanger that we left you off on from the last episode. In Part 2 of the "Co-Host on the Run" episode we return to hear the second half of MIA heathen Ryan, who by this point in the story is not only completely fed up with Drug Court in general, but also picking apart any means to get away with using while still enrolled in the ADC program. Ryan details his logic and tactics behind using, the result of his debauchery and finally his decisions that led him to go into hiding and running from the law. Unc makes additional commentary on his experience with the court ordered drug program as well as articulate a sincere attempt at making amends to Ryan for negatively influencing him to use on that faithful day. This has been a long wait coming for you my Brethren & Cestren of the Squad. Unc has mentioned this infamous episode many a times in podcast episodes gone by but never before have we here had the courage to release it. The episode mentioned is the "Co-Host on the Run" episode. Recorded well over 2 years ago, this one dates back to when Unc and Ryan were still facing their Drug Court encounter. Ryan had relapsed and gone on the run from the program and seeking seclusion in a hidden undisclosed location. Unc & Ryan talk over the phone discussing their issues with the ADC program as well as what events lead to their relapses and Ryan to run from the law. With a warrant out for his arrest and drugs coursing through his veins, Ryan articulately details his life leading up to that point. He also tells a few tales of what kind of mischief led him back into the judicial system, how he used to live while homeless and what life is like for him now. There's a lot of back and forth sharing old war stories on this one and unfortunately Unc censores out his most debaucherous tale to date to save for another time but still there is much fun to be had on this hilarious episode of Nod Squad.
