In this very special episode of Nod Squad Unc interviews Gabe; a staff member at the inpatient treatment facility he currently resides within. Gabe has played a big role in helping shape Unc into the person he is today and continues to evolve into. Its pretty difficult not to bond at least somewhat with the person who watches you pee in a cup during UA's, holds you accountable when you break the rules and wakes your lazy ass up for work duties / program elements / and all the other components rehab provides. Gabe has lived quite a life and seen some really dark chaotic things in his life yet throughout it all he has overcome every obstacle life has thrown at him with his sobriety & recovery still intact. It's been an amazing opportunity to get to know Gabe better, hear some of his story as well as his take on what its like getting through early recovery and staying there.
